    MY FAREWELL ADDRESS

    MY FAREWELL ADDRESS

Lakewood has been my home for many years and this high school has been a second home since I was a Freshman. I have done things from The Dead Tree Society to just writing for the Lakewood Times. I have made friends from all grades and this year I even have a few freshman friends. The people I have met here are all unique, the times and the classes I have taken are really fun. The teacher’s I have had have inspired me so much. I have wanted to be a teacher since elementary school and since I have started high school I have come to realize a strength in English. I love to write and I love to read. I love my friends and I have had such a great time.

I am moving away,  so today is my last day at Lakewood High. I am leaving behind my friends and my teachers. I am leaving everything behind. I need to heal I need to find myself. I need to become myself again, the person I used to be. If I could do it without moving I would but I think I need to. I need to get better. This school will always be my home school. I will always root the rangers on no matter what. The Indians and the Browns are still my teams. I may be in a new state but I will stay true to this one. Ohio is home for me and my friends and even my teachers have become family. Go Rangers! Some advice from me for the kids who are lower class men appreciate being in school. Appreciate what you have now and don’t take high school for granted. Enjoy the time you have now because I am a senior in high school and I wish I had spent more time really enjoying it and having fun.

Thanks Lakewood High School for all the fun times and thanks to my friends for supporting me, and thanks to my teachers for helping me get through the school years!!
