    GV Artwork Grand Opening

    GV Artwork Grand Opening

GV Art + Design, located on Detroit right across the street from St. James church, is relocating to a bigger and better location. Greg and George Vlosich, the owners of the store, have been making designs on t-shirts for years. Though they started in their parents’ basement, they are now moving to a location that is twice the size of the current store.

GV Art is originally known for their slogan “Cleveland That I Love” and for their designs with classic Cleveland landmarks, but their current shirts have designs for most Cleveland sports teams.  They have even started to put their designs on hats, hoodies, socks, track jackets, and more. Even players from the Cleveland Indians such as Jose Ramirez and Andrew Miller have stopped in to the store to look at designs that have been made specially for them. Since the business has grown so quickly and gained so much popularity, the current space has become way too small. The back room and storage areas are so full of merchandise and boxes that it is almost like an obstacle course to try to walk around.

The new space is twice the size of the current one and features original, decorative murals on the walls painted by Greg, George, and their family. It will also incorporate a decorative basketball court and turf wall. The new store is located right next to St. James church, just across the street from the current space. The grand opening is set to be on February 11th.
