LeBron James is easily the best player to ever put on a Cleveland Cavaliers uniform.

On Sunday January 29th, James became the first player in Cavs’ history to total 20,000 career points with the team. LeBron accomplished this during Sunday’s matchup with Russell Westbrook and the Oklahoma City Thunder. James scored his 20,000 point of a 2nd quarter lay up.

LeBron has now almost doubled Zydrunas Illgauskas’ point total for the all time leader for the Cavs. Illgauskas is the 2nd all time leader in points. Lebron James now has 27,988 career points, good enough for 8th all time.

Lebron, who is 32, still has years to keep climbing the all time scoring leader board. In front of Lebron at 7th all time in points scored is Shaquille O’Neal, mainly referred to as Shaq. Shaq is sitting at 7th all time in scoring with 28,596. LeBron only around 500 points could pass Shaq by the end of the season or during the playoffs. LeBron by the end of his career should easily be able to be at least 5th all time in scoring.

LeBron will go down as an all time great and will most likely be a first ballot hall of famer.
