    March Madness Has Arrived

    March Madness Has Arrived

When March comes around most sports get a little excited for the NCAA mens college basketball tournament. This tournament sends many people fighting over which out of the 68 teams will win the national championship.

To make this event even more exciting, they provide brackets that you can fill in yourself on who you think will win  and you can compete with your family, friends, ect. In March Madness there upsets coming from all different teams, an upset is when a lower ranked team beats a higher ranked team.

It’s very difficult to almost impossible to come up with the “perfect” bracket, meaning that someone predicted what team beat who all the way to the national championship.

For this years tournament the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds took early exits in the second round. Rick Pitino the coach for Villanova shocked many people watching the tournament when they took a loss to No. 8 Wisconsin.

Now with East Region not having its two top seeds in the tournament many people wonder who will make it to the Final Four or take home the championship. Many people were shocked on Sunday night when Duke the No. 2 seed had lost to South Carolina the No. 7 seed.

On the South side of the bracket UCLA came in the first half of their game against Cincinnati who quickly turned the game around after halftime. The heat didn’t last too long for Cincinnati as they lost by 12 to UCLA.

For North Carolina will provide a tougher match for Arkansas this Sunday, March 26, 2017. We will see who will make the Final Four and who will be taking home the National Championship.
