Louis Fricke an 11th grader and foreign exchange student at LHS has been chosen for the Featured Athlete of the Week after his spectacular performance at his track meet this Wednesday against Avon Lake and Westlake in the Tri meet.
Louis runs a 400meter dash, 4X4 relay, and a 200. Louis earned the best 400 time on the team, which is considered the hardest event in Track & Field. Louis also plays soccer for the High School and for his school in Germany. Fortunately I was able to get a quick interview with Louis.
Q: Do you like Lakewood?
A: I love Lakewood! I’ve made many new friends and I love how everyone here treats me like family!
Q:Do you miss Germany?
A: Yes and no, Lakewood feels like my new home.
Q: What are your goals for Track this year?
A: My goal is to at least set a new Personal Record every meet so I know im progressing.
