This week’s person of the week is Alex Markham. Alex is a junior here at LHS. He is apart of the construction trades program with the West Shore.
He also was involved with the NIMBA team the Dirty Beans. The Dirty Beans ended their season with a 4-6 record. The Dirty Beans had a rocky start but they pushed through and got some hard-fought wins.
Alex is a very high-spirited and easy-going person. He is a very easy person to start-up a conversation with so if you see him in the halls or need a friend don’t be shy to talk to him.
I asked Alex some questions about the year and here is what he answered.
Q: What are you excited for the most next year?
A: Painting for the football games and prom.
Q: What’s your favorite part of junior year so far?
A: Seeing everybody grow up and get older.
Q: What is your favorite class?
A: Construction Trades with Coach Dow.
Q: Do you know what you want to do after high school yet?
A: Not at the moment but I’m open to all of the options.
Q: Is there any advice you want to give to any underclassmen?
A: Focus early and stay on top of your grades because that is my biggest regret and a lot of my friend’s regrets too.
Q: Who is your favorite teacher and why?
A: Mr. Martin is my favorite teacher because he’s easily relatable and he shows he cares about his students.
