This person of the week is Mandy Muscatello!

Mandy is a bright, bubbly spirit and a great person to talk to when needing great advice. I highly advise you to take time out of your day to sit down and talk with her and ask her a few questions about her high school career so far and what you can do to make sure you can make the most of your high school life.

What advice would you give to incoming freshman?

“Focus on school more than you think you would have to. school gets a little hectic when you start to get older. Just keep your head up and keep pushing through.”

Is there anything you would do differently in high school?

“OH MAN, I probably would’ve taken more AP classes because those are classes I wouldn’t have to take in college.”

Who do you look up to?

“Ms. Smith. She is an anatomy teacher here. She is very intelligent and a very successful woman. She has taught me a lot this year even things that don’t involve the subject she teaches.”

What will you not miss from high school?

“All these petty people who worry too much about what everyone else is doing. Everything in high school doesn’t matter as much as you think it does. Do what you want not what people want from you. I also will not miss getting up extra early to take some of my friends to school.”

What are your plans for after high school?

“I’m going to Cleveland State University and I’m majoring in biology and hope to become a biology teacher in the near future”
