This week’s Person of the Week is junior, Deanna White. Deanna is a very outgoing, nice and fun spirit. When she is not at home studying, she hangs out with her friends or is at work. Deanna use to be involved in cheerleading her freshman year. Her goal for this year is to end fourth quarter with straight A’s. I got a chance to interview her during one of her study halls.

Q: What is your favorite class at Lakewood High School and why?

A: “Algebra 2 because I’ve always been able to catch on very quickly and I don’t need much help with it. I also love my teacher and classmates!”

Q: What is your favorite memory from Lakewood High School?

A: “Homecoming this year because I got to spend it with my boyfriend and my closest friends and it was just a lot of fun!”

Q: Is there anything you would do differently if you had to redo high school?

A: “I would have definitely tried a lot harder my freshman year because I didn’t do so well and it killed my grade.”

Q: What are you most excited about for senior year?

A: “I’m actually going to be moving to Westlake but I will be most excited for prom! I’m hoping one of my Lakewood friends brings me back to the Lakewood prom next year!”

Q: What are your plans for after high school?

A: “I’m going to go to Cleveland State and then do medical school through the Marine Reserves and become a pediatric surgeon.”
