    Would you like to win Indians game tickets, Barrio or Chipotle gift cards, 36 Malley’s candy bars and so much more?  The opportunity to win big!  The Junior Class is running the annual teacher raffle this week, the final day to purchase a raffle ticket is tomorrow.  Tickets will be sold during lunch periods and in the book room during non-lunch periods for $1 each.  Enter to win some amazing prizes!

     

    Are you interested in running for next year’s student council?  Elections are coming up soon!  See Mr. Stelter in C121, to pick up an election packet.  Packets will be due by Monday, May 15th at the latest. Additionally, on Monday, May 15th, there will be a meeting at 3:15 in room C121 for all those of you who have turned in your packet and are running for Student Council. Student Council campaigning and voting will take place next week.

     

    Seniors, tomorrow is senior recognition day!  We recommend that seniors wear something representing your prospective colleges, armed forces or future vocation.

     

    The deadline for turning in volunteer hours outside of H2O and school organizations, has been extended to tomorrow.   Pick up blank forms in B125.

     

    Do you play electric guitar, electric bass, piano, or drums? Or do you play violin, viola, cello, or bass? Then come and audition for The Lakewood Project, our very own rock orchestra.

     

    Auditions are June 1st. Audition information is available from Ms. Hankins in the Civic Auditorium.

     

    Come and be a part of this amazing ensemble!

     

    Girls just wanna have fun……Join the girls’ tennis team and come to the meeting on Thursday, May 25th at 3:30 in A102.

     

    Attention students in grades 9-11, are you interested in being part of the LHS Cheer program next school year?  Clinics and tryouts for football, basketball and competition cheerleading will take place May 15th-17th, from 4-6 pm, at Hayes Elementary gym.

     

    Seniors!!!!  Please make sure if you have not already done so, to turn in your Senior Follow up Survey and Final Transcript sheet.  Also we have got some last minute scholarships that have come into guidance make sure to check them out immediately.

     

    Attention musicians – are you interested in being part of the Lakewood Ranger Marching Band’s drumline?  Auditions will be happening May 22nd from 5-7 PM at Garfield Middle School.  See Mr. Steinbrunner in The Civic for more information!

     

    Did you miss the West Shore Orientation last night? Please come to the West Shore office today and pick up your packet and get some important information.

     

    Seniors – If you ordered a Cap and Gown or prom photos – they can be picked up in the Book Room.
