This week’s Person of the Week is Olivia Britt! Olivia is a junior this year a Lakewood High School.

One of Olivia’s favorite things to do is to play basketball. She has played basketball since she was little and continued to play during all three years of high school so far and plans to tryout again next year.

Olivia was also apart of the Girls basketball team that went to regional semi finals, putting them as one of the top 16 teams in the state. This team made it farther than any of the other Lakewood Girls Basketball Team in the past decade.

Olivia is also very involved in her academics as she is a straight A student taking multiple advanced class. Now here are some questions that i got the opportunity to ask her.

What do you plan to do after you graduate from Lakewood High School?

I plan to go to college after I graduate. I do not know where yet, but I am hoping to major in Early Childhood and minor in Spanish. I want to become bilingual so i can teach kids that speak Spanish or English or so i can teach them the other language.

What is your favorite high school memory at Lakewood?

My favorite high school memory is being apart of the basketball team and making it to regional semifinals. I would not trade that experience for the world.

Who is your favorite basketball player?

My favorite basketball player is Kevin Love. Go Cavs!
