This week’s Person of the Week is Sierra Smith! Sierra is a junior at Lakewood High School. She is enrolled in the Early Childhood Westshore program. When she is not busy with home and school work she is usually at work or hanging out with friends. Her favorite thing to do is draw and paint. Sierra is a very outgoing, creative and friendly person and loves to make new friends.
Q: What is your favorite class at Lakewood High School? Why?
A: “Westshore, Early Childhood Education because you get to have hands on activity with children of many ages. Everyday you spend with those kids, I promise you the smile they give you everyday will remind you why you’re doing what you’re doing.”
Q: What is your favorite memory from Lakewood High School so far?
A: “Um, I’m not so sure. Maybe going to Homecoming with my closest friends. It was just overall a good night!”
Q: What advice would you give to underclassmen?
A: “My advice would be to never get behind and to stay on top of things, do not let your grades drop! Also, a key piece of advice would to stay organized.”
Q: What are your plans for the future?
A: “I am not very sure what I want to do after high school but I just know I am going into college undecided.”
