Attention students that have lockers # 1038 thru 1043 and # 1076 thru 1087, these lockers are located in between rooms A102 & A107. Please clear out anything you may have in these lockers. You will be reassigned new lockers in the “C” building for the remainder of this school year. Construction in this area will begin next week. Come up to the bookroom no later than Friday to get your new locker location information.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SENIORS:
- If you don’t have your cap and gown yet, please come to the Book Room today.
- NHS Stoles and French Honor Society cords for graduation can be picked up in the Book Room by Friday. If you haven’t yet purchased your French Honor Society cord, Friday is the final deadline.
- You may now pick up your Elementary records from your house offices. Stop by during your lunch period, study hall, or before or after school.
- Be sure to turn in your textbooks and borrowed calculators to the Book Room as soon as you are finished with them and no later than May 26th, otherwise they will be added to your fees. If you have any outstanding fees, your diploma will not be mailed until all fees are paid.
- Senior dress-up day is Thursday, May 25th with a reception in the Ranger Café after school.
- There is a MANDATORY graduation rehearsal on Friday, June 2nd in the Civic at 8:30 AM. This is also when you will find out whether you receive your extra commencement tickets.
Students who are currently taking a math class of any level. Math Study Tables will be held today after school from 3-3:45pm in Ms. Sandor’s room, B314.
Student Council elections will take place Thursday and Friday during the lunch periods. You can only vote for student body and your class officers! Be sure to bring your student ID in order to vote!
There will be a Golf Team informational and summer activities meeting next Wednesday starting at 3:15 in room C308. If you are interested in articipating please plan to attend!
Do you play electric guitar, electric bass, piano, or drums? Or do you play violin, viola, cello, or bass? Then come and audition for The Lakewood Project, our very own rock orchestra. Auditions are June 1st. Audition information is available from Ms. Hankins in the Civic Auditorium. Come and be a part of this amazing ensemble!

Did you attend one or more of the Club Identity meetings this year? Did you want to get involved, but just didn’t have time? Are you interested in learning more about this club and possibly attending next year? If so, then come join Club Identity on May 23rd after school in Mr. Overholt’s room, C219, for our end of the year ice cream social and to discuss plans for Cleveland Pride over the summer. Again, that’s Tuesday, May 23rd in C219. Current members and future members are welcome.
Come and see the Spring Lakewood Project Concert on Saturday, May 20th at 7:30pm in the Civic. The concert will feature small ensembles as well as some classic favorites. Tickets are $5.00 in advance in the bookroom and $8.00 at the door the night of the show.
Do you have a book checked out from the library? If so, it’s time to bring it back. The library will soon start packing up to make its final move. Hurray!!
