    Brown’s Starting Quarterback?

    Browns Starting Quarterback?

The 2017 football season is right around the corner and the Cleveland Browns still have a lot of decisions to make before Week 1 starts. They currently have 4 quarterbacks to choose from and nobody is really certain on who they will choose to start. After the 2016 season ended the Browns made an interesting move by picking up former Houston Texan, Brock Osweiler. Brock didn’t have the best season in 2016 only throwing for 2,957 yards and 15 touchdowns. In 2015, Brock took over for veteran quarterback Peyton Manning in the playoffs and brought them to the Super Bowl. The Denver Broncos ended up winning that Super Bowl and getting Osweiler a ring.

Their second option is probably the least known of the four QBs. Kevin Hogan the backup quarterback for Cody Kessler threw of a very small 104 yards in 2016. He’s the former backup for the Kansas City Chiefs and hasn’t been doing much for the Cleveland Browns.

The last two options are the more likely options for them to choose from. Cody Kessler has been the Browns go to QB for the 2016 season. Cody had a 65.6% completion rate in 2016 and threw 6 touchdowns. Kessler has been prone to injuries and missed a lot of games but has definitely earned his stripes as the Cleveland starting QB.

The last option is the most recent option. DeShone Kizer was drafted in the 2017 NFL Draft. Kizer went to college at Notre Dame and was drafted in the second round by Cleveland. In 2016 Kizer threw for 2,925 yards and 26 touchdowns. Cleveland is very excited for their new young quarterback to show what he’s got.
