    Attention! This is an important announcement – Being on-time is a critical component to being successful in every walk of life. Please note that beginning this Wednesday, if you are not in your 1st period classroom by 8:00am you will receive a detention. If you need assistance developing and/or identifying strategies that will assist you in being on-time, see your guidance counselor or House Principal.

     

    The Girls Indoor Track and Field Team will have a sign up meeting after school today in Lecture Hall 1. See Coach Toole in Lecture Hall 3 if you have any questions.

     

    For any boys interested in indoor track & field…there will be an indoor track & field sign up meeting today at 3:10 in Lec Hall 2.  We will handout practice & meet schedules.

     

    The Southwestern Conference Cheerleader competition will be held at Midview high school Monday, November 6th at 7pm. Tickets are $6.00 and can be purchased in the Athletic Office. Do not miss class to purchase tickets. Come before school, your lunch period or after school. Tickets will be sold today through this Thursday.

     

    There will be a meeting this Wednesday at 3:15pm in the new wrestling room for all students interested in joining the wrestling team.

     

    Attention all seniors:  Nominations for class motto and class song can be made in the Bookroom today thru Wednesday during lunch periods.  So make sure you stop by and make your nominations!

     

     

    ATTENTION 11th, 10th & 9th graders!  Picture Retake Day is today, during lunch periods.  Cameras will be set up in the Art Atrium.  If you missed out on the original picture day or if you are unhappy with your pictures, this will be your last chance to have them taken for this school year!

     

    There will be an Organizational Meeting for any 9th to 12th Grade student that is interested in Trying Out for The High School Baseball Teams in February.  The meeting will be tomorrow at the LHS Baseball Field – 3rd Base Bleachers.  It is very important that you attend or at least stop by to find out dates and information needed to prepare for playing High School Baseball.

     

     

    The LHS TEAM, Teachers Engaged in Athletics and More would like to recognize and congratulate Lindy Warren for her Theatrical and Musical Excellence and Dayvon Hanible for his Gridiron Greatness this fall season. Each will receive a small token of appreciation.  Also, the LHS TEAM would like to congratulate and thank all LHS students who engaged in an extracurricular activity this fall.  The LHS TEAM looks forward to an exciting and spectacular winter season!  Go Rangers!

     

    Dance Group will have an informational meeting tomorrow & Wednesday in Lecture Hall 1 at 7:30am.  You may attend either of the 2 days.  Please enter through door 5.

    CLEVELAND STATE UNIVERSITY @12:30

     

    This weekend in Columbus the Girls Rugby team A and B side played against the number one ranked teams within their divisions and came out victorious. The girls went on to finish the day 4-0. They also managed to outscore their opponents for a total of 102pts-20pts. A great display of skills and teamwork had multiple girls pulled aside by scouts to play on the Midwest Thunderbirds select side. Great job ladies!

     

    The Interact club would like to thank everyone who participated in our Shelterbox rocks fundraiser. Together LHS raised nearly $500, which was more than matched by Rotary, and friends and former Rotary youth exchange families.  So far over $1300 has been raised for disaster relief. The grand prize winner of the hammock was NOLAN BAKER. RENAD ALMUTAIRI & BRIANNA ANDRERSON were our Thursday and Friday daily prize winners. Please pick up your prizes in the book room during lunch.
