    This is a reminder that as of November 1, 2017, if you are not in your 1st period classroom by 8:00 AM, you will receive a detention.

     

    The weight room will be closed until further notice.

     

    The first Barney’s Cafe of the year is today in the Black Box Studio Theatre at 7:00 PM!  Come join us for a FREE evening of acoustic music and self-expression.

     

    Dance Group Tryouts will be in Lec Hall 1, enter thru door #7 on the west side of the building.  Tryouts are tonight from 5:30-7:00pm.  Remember that you must turn in your medical emergency form.

     

    The Class of 2019 will be collecting money during 3° all of next week November 13th thru the 17th for “Hope for the Holidays”.  The class that raises the most money will win the first place prize of a food party of their choosing and the warm fuzzy feeling knowing that this donation drive will help to feed 300 Lakewood families this Thanksgiving and Christmas.

     

    Attention seniors, if you missed the senior class meeting Monday morning please stop in the book room for important information regarding cap and gown information. A representative from Jostens will return to LHS next Wednesday, November 15th to take additional orders in the bookroom.

     

    Seniors!  Stop by the Bookroom any day next week, Nov. 13th thru the 17th to sign up to be an Elf for Toys for Tots.

     

     

    Club Interact, the high school affiliate of Rotary International, invites all interested students, and the exchange students, to our November breakfast meeting next Tuesday, November 14th at 7:30am in Madame Braquets’ room A125.

     

    Also, we will have a Chipotle fundraiser that will take place at the Lakewood Chipotle next Wednesday, October 15th, from 4-8. Be sure to mention Interact or Shelterbox to the cashier….All proceeds will benefit Shelterbox USA!

     

    Attention students and staff, this Saturday, November 11th is Veteran’s Day.  So tomorrow, please wear red, white, and blue as a way to honor those who have served our country in the armed forces.  Additionally, during all lunch periods, you will have the opportunity to honor those in your lives who have served by putting their names on stars that will be hung in the cafeteria.

     

    Gamers’ Club will be held in Lec Hall 3 tomorrow. Please check the Google Classroom for more updates. See Mrs. Matthews or Mr. Streets if you need the code to join the Gamers’ Club Google Classroom. See you tomorrow!

      

    The National Guard will be at LHS from 4th thru 7th periods today in the Athletic Hallway.
