On Saturday, November 4th, 2017 the boys traveled to Micheal A Ries Rink in Parma, for their first scrimmage against Normandy High School. Very excited and eager to finally start the season! We all wish the best of luck to the Hockey Team this year.

The boys started off their first scrimmage really well.  The boys scored two goals in the 1st period! One being scored by senior Patrick Gilman (1). The second on being scored by Mac McFarlin (1). The second period the boys had a hard time scoring, but played good defense. Unfortunately, the boys fell short against the Normandy Invaders by only two goals.

Then on Sunday November 5th, 2017, the boys traveled to Mentor to pay their second scrimmage against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School. The Lakewood Rangers win their second game of the season by a final score of 3-1! Goals scored by Alex Blinky (1) and William Holden (2).

The last scrimmage of the season will be held away at KSU Ice Arena against CVCA High School on November 18th, 2017. Try to make it out and support the boys first home game against the Westlake Demons. Don’t forget to come and support the Rangers Hockey team on November 19th ,2017 at Winterhurst.
