This week’s person of the week is Emily Ruebsteck.
Emily is a senior at Lakewood High School. She is adventurous and likes to try new things. For example she signed up to be an elf for Toys for Tot’s during her senior year. She will also be talking to freshmen about what it is like to be a high school student and what they should expect throughout the years.
She considers herself as an overacheiver and wants to graduate with honors. After graduating college high school she sees herself pursuing her career in the music industry and will be a music therapist.
On her free time when she is not working at Office Max she likes to listen to music,hang around her friends and play withe dog Layla and turtle Bubbles. Her favorite hobby is photography and love to take pictures.
Her favorite class is practical communications because it taught her a lot of skills that she is going to need she is out of high school and out into the real world.
Emily can not wait to graduate highschool and go to college but will also miss being in Lakewood and by her friends and family. She applied for college at Kent state for four years but she has not decided on what she wants her major to be.
Some of her favorite things to eat are Hershey’s chocolate bars and burritos. Her favorite song to listen to is lights down low and her favorite book to read is crescendo.
