    Servers, Kitchen Help and Easter Bunnies are needed for the H2O Breakfast with the Bunny this Saturday at Lakewood Park.  Sign up in the H2O office in the cafeteria.

     

    AP Students:  Registration forms are available in the Bookroom, from your AP teachers and your house office. A $15 deposit per exam is required and due by this Friday and the signed form must accompany payment.  This date is set by the College Board, therefore we cannot accept deposits after Friday, March 23rd or you will have to pay a $55 per test LATE Fee!   See Mr. Siftar if you have questions.

     

    Seniors! If you are planning to go to college, a technical or trade school, please stop by the House 3 office or the guidance office and pick up an OAPSE 129 scholarship application. The application is open to all seniors and you could get $500 towards your tuition!

     

    Are you a senior planning to attend college next year and major in education?  If this is you, there are opportunities for $500 scholarships available through the Lakewood Teachers Association.  Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of financial need, scholastic achievement, extracurricular activities and an essay. Further information about the on-line application is available in the guidance department and on the LHS web page.  Completed applications are due on Friday, April 13, 2018.  It’s not too soon to get started!

     

    Attention any former, or current LHS Health students.  There will be a CPR certification course this Thursday after school in room A105.  If you wish to receive a 2 year CPR certificate, please sign up with Mr. Saksa in C125, or Mr. Dolnosich in A105.  The class will be approximately 2 1/2 hours long, so plan accordingly.

     

    Attention all students who plan to attend AYF’s national leadership conference.  You must be register by this Friday, to receive school based scholarships.  If you have questions about registration see Ms. Sabin for assistance.

     

    Attention Current 10th & 11th Grade Students:

    Effective Leadership Academy, Lakewood City Schools and the Chamber of Commerce have partnered together to turn your city into a classroom!

    This is a 5-day college and career-readiness program June 11th-15th, where each day is anchored by a central theme, a closely associated leadership skill-set, and a carefully selected location in your community.

    Only 50 students will be accepted into this program for 2018. Apply by April 11th to be considered for this exciting opportunity to get to know Lakewood like you never have before!  Questions – See Mr. Siftar

     

     

    Make dinner a selfless act by joining us for a fundraiser to support the sophomore class, the class of 2020!  Just go to the Lakewood Chipotle anytime today between 4:00 & 8:00pm.  Bring the flyer or show it on your smartphone or tell the cashier you are supporting the LHS class of 2020.  The class of 2020 will receive 50% of the proceeds.

     

    The final Barney’s Cafe of the year is tomorrow at 7pm in the studio theatre!  Come to this free event to see a variety of acoustic performances.  Sign-ups are outside of the studio theatre!

     

    Seniors, today is the last day to purchase prom and after prom tickets.  You must have a signed permission form in order to purchase a ticket.
