The Cleveland Indians are off to a hot start in the cold weather of this 2018 season. They are in 2nd place in the American League (AL) Central. The Indians record right now is eight and six, they are 0.5 games behind the Twins who are in the first place of the AL Central with a record of seven and four.

The Indians last two games were suppose to finish out their series with the Blue Jays. The games were to be played in Cleveland on April 14 and April 15 but they have been postponed to a later date due to the crazy April weather in Cleveland.

Before the Blue Jays came to Cleveland the Detroit Tigers were here for a four game series. The Indians won all four, and swept the Tigers for the first sweep of their year.

In the series of four the Tigers were only able to score five runs after being shutout in the first game of the series. While the Twins could only score five runs the Indians were able to scored 18.

The next two games the Indians have are on April 17 and 18 against the Minnesota Twins. The Indians are the away team for the two games but the games wont be played in Minnesota. The games are scheduled to be played at the Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The two game set is a big set for the Indians with them being 0.5 games behind the Twins they can win these games and take first place in the AL Central
