Rory Meehan is a senior at Lakewood High School. He has spent has four years of high school at LHS, and previously went to Lakewood Catholic Academy. Throughout his years, he has participated in various things such as cross-country, track, and NIMBA. He plans to attend the University of Cincinnati in the fall. I was able to ask Rory some questions about his past four years at the high school.
Q: What was your favorite year of high school and why?
A: “My junior year is probably my favorite year of high school because I made a lot of new friends and tried a lot of new things.”
Q: What is your favorite high school memory?
A: “My favorite memory would be going on a field trip to the art museum for my English class sophomore year. There aren’t many field trips in high school so it was a fun experience outside the classroom.
Q: What are your plans for next year?
A: ” I am going to the University of Cincinnati to study business and marketing.”
Q: What are you most excited about for the last weeks of school?
A: “I am excited for prom weekend, senior skip day, and getting to finally graduate with my cap and gown.”
Q: Who has been your favorite teacher and why?
A: “My favorite teacher from high school would be my physics teacher Mrs. Zaremba. I have really enjoyed her class this past year and all the things we do. She really makes physics fun.”
