After a horrible blowout on Wednesday, the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Indiana Pacers in a very heated game seven in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

LeBron led the Cavs to a very important win yesterday. The game was controlled by the Cavaliers for the first two quarters. James had twenty-six first half points and that brought the Cavs an eleven point lead going into halftime.

Ty Lue made the decision to start the best people he had that he knew would handle the game seven situation. He started LeBron James, Kyle Korver, Kevin Love, JR Smith, and Tristan Thomson. All of them have one key thing in common. Yes, they are all great basketball players, but that isn’t it. They all were very important pieces in Cleveland’s game seven win over The Golden State Warriors in 2016.

This was a very smart move on Ty Lue’s part. He knew all of these guys were prepared and knew how important winning a game seven is. He hoped they would step up and they all did, but the most surprising was Tristan Thompson. He averaged 5.8 points and 6.6 rebounds this season and has not played much in the finals. He became a very important player yesterday. Thompson had fifteen points and ten rebounds. He really stepped up for the team.

By the end of the third, Cleveland had seventy-six points and The Indiana Pacers had seventy-four points. Everyone was on the edge of their seats but nobody was really surprised when LeBron started going off.

By the end of the game, James had forty-five points but the win was a team effort. From being up by eleven at the half and only up by two at the third, they managed to stay calm and were able to end the game with 105 points. The Pacers fell short by four points. They had 101 points.

Looks like LeBron was able to lead the team to another game seven victory. Up next, the Toronto Raptors! Go Cavs.
