Can LeBron Carry the Cavs to the Finals

Can LeBron Carry the Cavs to the Finals

Cleveland Cavaliers superstar Small Forward LeBron James has carried this team to the second round. LeBron and the Cavaliers won in-game seven against the Indiana Pacers where LeBron averaged 34 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists per game. Before losing game one to the Pacers, LeBron had never lost in the first round. They’re now against the number one seed Toronto Raptors.

The Toronto Raptors are led by all-star back court of Point Guard Kyle Lowry and Shooting Guard DeMar DeRozan. DeMar averaged 26 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists. His Point Guard Kyle Lowry averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists per game. This match up might be one of the mos challenging if not the most challenging in the east. The Raptors are top 5 in both offense of efficiency and defense of efficiency. If they advanced they’d have to play the Boston Celtics or the Philadelphia 76ers. These are two very young but well coached teams who are thirsty for a trip to the finals.

LeBron is hoping for some help from all-star Kevin Love who was struggling in the first round. Kevin was shooting 36 percent from the field and 28 percent from beyond the arc. The Cavs are also hoping that J.R. Smith, Kyle Korver and George Hill can help as well. They know LeBron can’t carry the team every night through the playoffs, yet he’s been doing it.

So if LeBron James and the Cavaliers want to make it out of the east and to the finals, they will have to get help from their starters. LeBron James cannot be the only one doing his job and producing for the Cavs to beat the Raptors and then who ever they’d face in the Eastern Conference Finals.
