The Western Conference Finals start on Monday May 14, 2018. Game one will take place in Houston at the Toyota Center. The Rockets come in to the Western Conference Finals confident after beating the Utah Jazz in five games. The Rockets are gonna be the under dogs in the series but like the opportunity to knock off the Warriors and go to the finals for the first time in years.

The Rockets are led by MVP candidate James Harden and Chris Paul. In the regular season, the Rockets and Warriors tied the series 2-2. The Rockets are a run-n-gun team, which means they ‘re a team that strives on transition points and three pointers. In the regular season Rockets stars James Harden averaged 8 threes per game and Chris Paul averaged 5 threes per game. The Rockets also have one of the best shot blockers and rebounding center in Clint Capela. Clint in the post-season is averaging around 3 blocks and 12 rebound per game.

The Warriors come in to the Western Conference Finals confident as well, as they beat the New Orleans Pelicans in five games. They were glad to have star Stephen Curry back in the lineup and healthy. They’re led by stars Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry. In game four against the Pelicans, Kevin Durant scored 38 and in-game one Stephen Curry returned from injury and played 27 minutes. He scored 28 points with 6 assists. We can’t forget about the two other Warrior stars in Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

This Warriors team is loaded with stars but can the Rockets somehow win the series and go to the finals, or will the Warriors take care of the Rockets and go to their 4th straight finals appearance?
