Isabel Cintron is a senior at Lakewood High School. She is an excellent student, obtaining a 3.5 gpa. She also is an athlete. She played basketball all four years at Lakewood High and lettered three years of the four. I got to sit down and ask Isabel a couple of questions.
Q: What are your plans for after high school?
A: “I am going to the university of Toledo to study nursing then getting my masters to be a physician assistant.”
Q: How did you know you wanted to go there ?
A:” I know they have a good nursing program and it is the perfect distance from home.”
Q: What was your favorite class at Lakewood High?
A:” Physics Class with Mrs. Zaremba because we are always doing fun stuff and she is a good teacher.”
Q: What is your favorite memory from the four years you have been at Lakewood High?
A: ” My favorite memory was winning districts my junior year against Medina. Cutting down the net was a great feeling and the amount of fans there was unreal. It’s a game I’ll never forget.”
Q: What is one thing you would change about your high school days?
A: ” I would change trying a little harder my freshman and sophomore year.”
Q: How long have you been playing basketball for?
A: ” I have been playing for 10 years and I’ve also played AAU basketball since the seventh grade. Basketball has been a huge part of my life and I’m sad it’s officially over.”
