    Distill Table

    Distill+Table

On September 8, 2018, Lakewood was introduced to a new restaurant. Distill Table was added to the Lakewood restaurant family through owner Chef Eddie Tancredi. Distill Table is a part of the brewery, Western Reserve Distillers, which is built into the western part of the restaurant. It’s also an Eco Sustainable restaurant that supports local farmers.

Distill Table is located at 14221 Madison Avenue, which is just south of the high school for any students wanting a bite to eat after their dismissal. Open on Tuesdays to Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Fridays, it’s a great place to have a get-together with friends.

Tancredi has said that his restaurant will only focus on locally grown ingredients. In the near future, he hopes that everything on the menu can be grown around the region. “If it’s not from Ohio, it’s not on the menu.” said Tancredi in an interview with Patch last year.

Distill Table’s menu offers so many local ingredients already, it won’t take them very long to achieve their goal. They also offer vegetarian and gluten-free options. With almost everything on the menu around ten dollars, it makes for a great option for lunch or dinner when you don’t have any plans.

“I’ve never been, but it seems cool. I’d like to check it out.” said LHS junior, Anthony Kocinski.

Distill Table is able to seat 99, the restaurant includes indoor and outdoor seating, two bars, and a chef’s kitchen counter. They’re is open everyday, besides Monday, and offers dinner options as well as brunch on the weekends.

Western Reserve Distillers, who Distill Table is a part of, is known as a “grain-to-glass” meaning they really care about what they serve to their consumers. That’s part of Tancredi’s mission to help out local farmers.
