Ohio State is one of the most storied programs in the whole country.

Year after year, the expectation is a National Championship no matter what. In 2014 they beat the top two teams in the country with their 3rd string quarterback to win the title under Urban Meyer.

This season The Buckeyes have already proved they are one of the top teams in the nation starting out 4-0. They are led by a young quarterback named Dwayne Haskins, who threw for 309 yards and 5 touchdowns against Tulane in the first half. Three out of the four games Haskins has thrown for over 300 yards including a huge win against 15th ranked TCU two weeks ago. Senior Ahmad Nijem said “He’s the real deal and is easily one of the best in the country”.

To complement the amount of talent at the quarterback position, Ohio state also has maybe the best “one two” punch between running backs in the country. Both J.K Dobbins and Mike Weber are averaging over 6 yards per carry and putting Dwayne Haskins in easy 3rd down conversions.

Also we cannot forget about the veteran group of wide receivers that he has to throw to. Austin Mack, Terry McLauren, Jonnie Dixon, Benjamin Victor and Paris Cambell highlight a very solid group of returning receivers.

Ohio State’s defense is another strength of this team. They have a defensive line that is one of the best in the country led by Nick Bosa and Dremont Jones. The secondary is the one shaky part of the team as they have given up a couple big plays this season but that is due to lack of experience.

Overall Ohio State is one of the favorites to win the title due to their talent on both sides of the ball and the lack of competition in the Big Ten.
