    Black+Ops+4+Release

October 12th was a highly anticipated day for many all over the world. At 12pm everyone with an online download would be able to play the new game Call of duty Black Ops 4 while those with the physical copy (disk) could play whenever their system backed up the game that they were able to pre-order in advance and pick up the hours before release.

Call of duty Black Ops 4 was developed by Treyarch, Beenox, and Raven software. The game itself features fourteen online multiplayer maps, four zombie game mode maps, and a new battle royale game mode call “Black out.” There are multiple DLC’s (downloadable content) that are expected to be released in the future that will add more content such as weapons, skins, modes, and maps to the game for a price. “I have not been bored yet and I don’t expect to get bored anytime soon, this game only gets more fun,” stated Jared Yacobet.

Treyarch does not release its sales numbers but stated that Black Ops 4 broke multiple online sales records, it is unknown what the exact sales are for in store physical copies. This is the fourth game in the Black Ops series produced by Treyarch, and is one of the eleven core titles produced in the Call of Duty series. Overall there have been twenty-four games that belong to the Call of Duty dynasty ranging from its first title released on PC in October, 2003, to its most recent multi-million dollar title released just days ago.
