Bryan Cranston, the main character of the hit AMC show Breaking Bad has confirmed that a Breaking Bad spin-off movie is in the works.

“Yes, there appears to be a movie version of Breaking Bad, but honestly I have not even read the script,” Cranston told Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show. “I have not gotten the script, I have not read the script. And so, there’s the question of whether or not we’ll even see Walter White in this movie. Ohhhhh! Think about that one.” (Entertainment Weekly)

The only other type of spin-off related to Breaking Bad is Better Call Saul made by the same directors and producers. That TV series is all about the attorney who was a very important character in Breaking Bad.

This movie is rumored to be a sequel to the whole tv series Breaking Bad. The focus of the movies is for character Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad and what he does after the big bang in the series finale.

According to sources close to the project, the film is currently going by the working title ‘Greenbrier’. That could just be a holding name for the project or something to throw us off the scent entirely.

With filming set to begin in mid-November, we could speculate that we might see the Breaking Bad film in late 2019 at the earliest. It’s also not clear yet whether the movie will be released in cinemas or as a TV movie.

This show is one of the most popular shows ever made and millions have seen the crazy things that have happened in the show. 5 years ago the last episode aired and fans will love this idea for a film without a doubt.
