For all you DC fans, this is huge.

While Warner Bros. kicked off their superhero movie franchise named the DCEU.

With 2013’s Man of Steel, it wasn’t until 2016’s epic battle featuring the return of Henry Cavill’s Superman from Man of Steel and the debut of Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne/Batman that Zack Snyder could get his vision of the DCEU.

From Superman and Lex Luthor’s conversation on the roof to Batman’s “why did you say that name” line, several minutes later Superman (Henry Cavill) goes to find her. Now it’s Snyder’s time to chime in on the conversation. The filmmaker explained on his official Vero account (via CinemaBlend) why Clark didn’t find his mother on his own, despite the fact that he fully knows he’s capable of locating her, as he was able to do the same for Lois (Amy Adams) but Lois (Amy Adams) was more in the moment.

“It is a green screen shot. He flies up above the city and hovers. The camera begins to rotate around him as he hears the Cries of citywide crime going on and as we get closer, he is in pain because he knows if he try’s to find her this way, he will have to ignore the countless crimes going on in the two cities and the world.” said Zack Snyder. This is a very big deal considering he is Superman. He can do practically anything but it is a big deal that things overcome him as his mother is in danger. There was a lot going through the characters mind and he knew it was not the way to save his mother.

Sadly, Ben Affleck who plays Batman has ruled out of the role. As the DCEU just started 5 years ago, it hurts to see him go so quickly. But many more big roles are getting their own films like Aquaman coming very soon.
