As the international police is underway for finding the gunman. The suspect is identified as a 29-year-old Cherif C. He killed three people at the Christmas market and left one on life support with no chance of recovery, said Paris prosecutor Remy Heitz. (CNN)
Police had previously said three people were killed and 13 injured in the attack Tuesday. The gunman who remains on the run has a very bad criminal background that includes 27 convictions in France, Germany, and Switzerland, said Heitz. “I think it’s sad that we are still dealing with these issues, there has been change and we are heading in the right direction but it needs to happen sooner and quicker. They need to be more efficient and take this into pre-caution.” said student Will Adams.
The father, mother and two brothers of the suspect are in custody and being questioned by police.
“Throughout this journey, he repeatedly opened fire with a handgun and used a knife which he both used to seriously injure and kill,” said Heitz, speaking in Strasbourg. (CNN)
Hopefully they find this gunman and get him into custody. This worldwide problem needs to end or the governments cycle of not taking action will continue. It happens almost everyday and governments do not take enough action.
