The King of Dreamville is back and starting off 2019 the right way. Sending a message to everyone with his new single “Middle Child”. He made his statement and lets every one of his fans know that this is what he is about this year.

After deleting everything off of his Instagram and posting an announcement, J. Cole recently delivered his first release of 2019, titled “Middle Child.”

    J. Cole dropped a single Wednesday night and got amazing crazy feedback on the release.

He shouts out a number of rappers on the record like Drake, Kodak Black, JAY-Z, and 21 Savage, but declares he’s the “greatest right now.”

Jermaine Cole just got finished wrapping up a recording session in Atlanta with the rest of his label, but there is no word on which project “Middle Child” will end up on. But for now, we’re just going to enjoy this one for what it is.

“After a long record from J. Cole, this is a refreshing take on his flow and voice,” said senior Chris Thelen.

The T-Minus produced track is centered around the theme of competition and touches on his beef with Drake. Aside from talking about his relationship with the Canadian artist, Cole also references rappers Kodak Black, JAY-Z and 21 Savage. It is currently unclear if “Middle Child” will appear in Revenge Of The Dreamers or The Fall Off, which Cole has been teasing as of late.

Revenge Of The Dreamers III has been announced already and is getting its finishing touches right now. The album is for Dreamville and all the artists involved.

The Fall Off has only been teased a few times by Cole but it is a thing and is being worked on as J. Cole confirmed on Twitter.

“This song is crazy good and gets better each time I listen to it. Cole world forever” said senior William Adams.

We will see what Cole has in store for Dreamville fans for 2019.
