    Golden Ticket Prizes for this week:

    Two Seniors who have already purchased Prom Tickets OR After Prom tickets, will have the chance to be reimbursed, either for 2 Prom Tickets OR 2 After Prom Tickets, if your name is drawn.

    One underclassman will win a gift certificate for Grab n Go lunch from Ranger Cafe for you and a friend.

    Names will be drawn at the pep rally Friday!

     

     

    Art Club and National Art Honor Society will meet after school tomorrow in B206 until 4:30 pm. We are working on exciting things in preparation for the spring art show.

     

     

    Are you interested in trying out for the LHS Flag Corps?

    Clinics and tryouts are this week in the LHS gym.

    Flag clinics are today, through Friday, from 5:30-7:30pm.

    Gamers Club will meet this Friday, April 12th, from 3-5 in Lecture Hall 3.

    It is a potluck party, so be sure to bring a snack or drink to share.

     

    This announcement is for anyone interested in running for a Student Council position for next school year.  

    There will be a MANDATORY meeting this Thursday at 3:00 in C211.

     If you cannot attend that meeting, there will be another one on Friday at 7:40AM in C211.  See Mrs. Guzowski in C211 with any questions.

     

    Join Race And Diversity in discussing immigration in the U.S. and how it affects us.

    We will also discuss the government agency, ICE, and current debates over the US/Mexico border.

    Come after school today, at 3:00 pm in Room C309 to discuss this issue.

    Snacks will be provided.

     

     

    Do you love both science and the outdoors?

    Field Ecology is being offered this summer just after school lets out! A half credit of science is awarded to students for two weeks of learning, and field trips!

    See your science teacher for the application… and hurry, applications are due this Friday, April 12!

     

     

    Seniors!  THIS Friday, April 12th, is the LAST day that you will be able to order your cap & gowns at jostens.com, or call 1-800-jostens!!! You must order from Jostens!

     

    Jostens will be here at LHS on Tuesday, April 30 to distribute the cap and gowns.

     

    Again, the LAST Day to order is…This FRIDAY!

     

     

    Attention JUNIOR National Honor Society members: if you are interested in running for an office for next year be sure to fill out the Google Form that was sent through Remind by Friday, April 12.

    All National Honor Society members, our next mandatory meeting is Tuesday, April 16 after school in Lecture Hall 1. We will be holding elections for officers for next school year. If you are running for an office be sure to bring your prepared speech! Please see an officer or Mr. Roth in A210 with any questions. 

     

     

    Any student interested in playing boys’ basketball at Lakewood High School, there will be a brief informational meeting tomorrow at 3:05pm in room A101.

     

    Do your best to attend this meeting. If not, make other arrangements to see Coach Cammock.

    Tomorrow – Binghamton University and CSU 4thperiod in the Library

    Tomorrow – U.S. Army – Athletic Hallway

     

     

    Next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, there will be a Voter registration drive in the cafeteria during all lunch periods.

    If you will be 18 by November 3, 2020, you can register to vote!

    In preparation, please know your Ohio driver’s license number or the last four digits of your social security number.

    We will have information on upcoming elections, candidates, along with ways for you to become more politically active.

    It’s our civic duty to take part in our democracy by participating in elections.

    We’re excited to get you registered!
