The newest Marvel Avengers movie Avengers: Endgame comes out April 26th, 2019. After several years in the making, phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes to an end.

Endgame is a sequel to The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Avengers: Infinity War. Making it the twenty-second main installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Avengers: Endgame already broke the record for most trailer views in December with 289 million views in the first 24 hours. Shortly after, the second official Endgame trailer released in March and became the second most viewed trailer with approximately 268 million views.

Avengers: Endgame also set a new ticket presale record and crashed websites around the world. On Fandango, Endgame broke the company’s first-day ticket sale record in just 6 hours.

With tickets selling out quickly from movie sale websites, people are now selling their tickets on eBay for thousands of dollars. One seller put 4 tickets to a Friday show at Times Square theater up for $60,000.

For all these reasons Endgame is not only the highest grossing movie in years, but is breaking records all over the place. This movie is definitely the most anticipated movie of the year already.

Many people are excited about the run time of the movie. Breaking its own Marvel movie record with a runtime of 3 hours and 2 minutes.

Actors and Actresses from the movie have all been commenting on the movies upcoming release and doing press conferences. Actor Robert Downey Jr, who plays Iron Man, says “Infinity War was nuts, but this is going to be our finest hour. I guarantee you, there is no way anybody could guess what’s gonna happen!”

Lakewood student Amina Kavishe says “I’m just saying if Infinity War did that, just imagine how amazing Endgame is about to be.”
