    Coming to an End…

    Coming to an End...

It has been twelve years in school and for the Class of 2019, it is about to come to an end. Yes, it is all coming to a close. The seniors are in their final two weeks of school; the countdown has begun.

Within the next two weeks, the students need to take every last bit in because all they have known for the last eighteen years is about to change. I talked to a couple different seniors to get their outlook on their time here at the high school and their future plans.

Frankie Bruening has been attended Lakewood City Schools since first grade, this is what she had to say: “I am so proud to say that I am about to graduate from Lakewood High School. I wouldn’t trade the memories made her for anything. I am excited to see what the future has in store, but will always remember where I came from.”

Senior Emma Walker also stated, “One of my favorite memories here at Lakewood High School would be being a part of the cross country team. The activities we all did together are ones I will never forget. When I leave here, I am looking forward to spending the summer with friends and seeing them all one last time before I start my new adventure.”

On June 2nd, the graduating seniors will take their well deserved walk across the Lakewood Civic Auditorium stage to receive their diplomas.
