    If you were unable to attend the West Shore Orientation last evening, please get to the West Shore office and pick up your important packet.

     

     

    Are you interested in cheering for football, basketball, or on the competition squad next school year?

    If so, tryouts will be held May 13-16th.

    Please stop by the LHS athletic office to pick up a tryout packet for specific times, locations, and paperwork beforehand.

     

    Today is the last day for Student Council elections.  Voting takes place in the Bookroom lobby.  

    You can vote during your lunch period.

    You must have your student ID with you in order to vote. 

     

     

    Gamers Club’s last meeting of the year is after school today in Lec. Hall 3!  Get ready to party!

     

     

    Do you like helping people? Do you like blue crystal waters and soft white sand beaches? How about hiking ancient ruins and exploring new cultures?  Ever wanted to visit Cancun??  Well, then the Travel Club Spring trip for 2020 is perfect for you!!  

    All interested participants should plan to attend an informational meeting, Monday, May 13that 6:30 pm in the Ranger Cafe!  Have questions, swing by C114 and see Mrs. Gliozzi!

    H2O is looking for volunteers to help Lakewood Community Services Center prep their gardens at Madison Park tomorrow starting at noon.  This garden will allow clients to grow fresh food all summer long!  Please sign up at the H2O Office.

     

     

    Attention senior National Honor Society members, be sure to pick up your graduation stoles from Mr. Roth in A210 sometime this week.

     

    This is a great time of year for students to take the ACT® test. Juniors who test in June will get scores back in time to meet scholarship deadlines and college application deadlines. Sophomores can use the June ACT to gain a better understanding of scholastic strengths and identify areas for improvement.

    Monday, May 20 is the last day to register for the June ACT test!

    The moment you’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived.   

    If you pre-ordered a yearbook, you may pick it up during lunch periods in the cafeteria next Tuesday, May 14th

    If you haven’t already purchased a yearbook, there will be extras for sale starting Wednesday for $65. 

    We expect to sell out of the extra yearbooks quickly.

     

     

    There will be a girls and boys tennis next meeting Thursday, May 16th, from 3:30-4:30 in Lecture Hall #1

     

    The Lakewood Project would like to invite you “Into the Jungle” on Saturday, May 18that 7:30pm in the Lakewood Civic Auditorium.

    Take a walk on the wild side as we perform music by groups named after animals, or songs that have animals in the title.

    The Lakewood Project is committed to environmental causes, and therefore, a portion from each ticket sold will go towards building a butterfly garden here at Lakewood High School.

    Tickets are now available in the book room.

    Advance tickets are $3 for students and $8 for adults
