    Are you interested in cheering for football, basketball, or on the competition squad next school year?

    If so, tryouts are this week.

    Please stop by the LHS athletic office to pick up a tryout packet for specific times, locations, and paperwork beforehand.

     

    Do you like helping people? Do you like blue crystal waters and soft white sand beaches? How about hiking ancient ruins and exploring new cultures?  Ever wanted to visit Cancun??  Well, then the Travel Club Spring trip for 2020 is perfect for you!!  

    All interested participants should plan to attend an informational meeting, tonight at 6:30 pm in the Ranger Cafe!  Have questions, swing by C114 and see Mrs. Gliozzi!

    This is a great time of year for students to take the ACT® test. Juniors who test in June will get scores back in time to meet scholarship deadlines and college application deadlines. Sophomores can use the June ACT to gain a better understanding of scholastic strengths and identify areas for improvement.

    Monday, May 20 is the last day to register for the June ACT test!

    The moment you’ve all been waiting for has arrived!   

    If you pre-ordered a yearbook, you may pick it up during lunch periods in the cafeteria tomorrow. 

    If you haven’t already purchased a yearbook, there will be a few extras for sale for $65 starting Wednesday. 

    We expect to sell out of the extra yearbooks quickly.

     

     

    There will be a girls and boys tennis next meeting this Thursday, from 3:30-4:30 in Lecture Hall #1

     

     

    The Lakewood Project would like to invite you “Into the Jungle” on Saturday, May 18that 7:30pm in the Lakewood Civic Auditorium.

    Take a walk on the wild side as we perform music by groups named after animals, or songs that have animals in the title.

    The Lakewood Project is committed to environmental causes, and therefore, a portion from each ticket sold will go towards building a butterfly garden here at Lakewood High School.

    Tickets are now available in the book room.

    Advance tickets are $3 for students and $8 for adults.
