I have been attending Lakewood High School for the past 4 years now. In that time, I’ve done a lot of growing and made a lot of memories. I have made a lot of great friends that I will have for the rest of my life.

Some of my favorite memories are in the Construction Trades class. There was a countless amount of hilarious moments. I’m thankful that we had such a cool teacher like Mr. Dow to put up with us for 3 periods a day for a whole year. Some of the funniest moments of my life came in this class and I will always remember it as the one of the best classes I’ve ever taken.

Some advice that I would give to  freshman is that your grades will always matter even as a freshman. I didn’t think that colleges would care about my grades as a freshman/sophomore and I ended up having to take the SAT 3 times because of it. At the end of the day it’s up to you to do the work but it will give you a huge jump start if you just push through it when it’s easy.

After high school, I am attending Nova Southeastern University on a basketball scholarship. I think that this was the best fit for me because of the level of competition there. Also, the program is on the rise right now. It is a place where I will be able to compete for national championships and hopefully get one before my time there is done.
