    Would you like to help our new ninth graders for the 2019/2020 school year make a smooth transition, sign up for fresh start, applications are outside of the bookroom & House 1.  Deadline is Wednesday, May 29.

     

    Today thru the end of the school year, if you are finished with your textbooks, you can turn them in to the old Bookroom at the top of the stairs, on the third floor, near the elevator in the B building. 

    All FEES are to be paid in the new Bookroom outside of the cafeteria.

     

    Do you play the guitar, piano, bass or drum set?

    Do you like rock, pop, jazz, and creating your own music?

    Consider auditioning for the 2019-20 Lakewood Project.

    Audition information can be found outside of the Civic stage door, hanging on the orchestra bulletin board.

    If you want to know what it’s like, ask a current Lakewood Project member and they can tell you all about it. Auditions are June 3rd, so hurry!

              (instrument)          and she will email you the application.

     

    If you pre-ordered a yearbook, they are available to pick up in the Bookrooom.

     

    Attention seniors, this is your last day!

    Don’t forget to stop by your house office to pick up your elementary school records!

    Please note that if you did not attend a Lakewood elementary school, there may not be records for you.

     

    Honor our country’s heroes this Memorial Day by helping mark the graves of veterans with American Flags for the Memorial Day holiday. 

    We will take a bus from LHS to the cemetery this Saturday, May 25th, and will return after lunch provided by the veterans group at 1PM. 

    Sign up and take a permission form in the H2O office in the cafeteria.

     

    In June 2020, French students, past and present are eligible to go on the French trip with Madame Braquet!

    If you are interested, there will be an information meeting tomorrow at 7pm in room A125 (Madame Braquet’s room).

    There is a “Jobs Board” located outside the West Shore Office close to the Guidance Department.  There are positions available in sales, cashiering, painting, cleaning, yard work, and more! 

     

    Some reminders to our Seniors!  Don’t forget the senior reception after school today in the Ranger Café.

    The last day for seniors to pay fees in the New Bookroom, turn in textbooks, or calculators to the Old Bookroom, and turn in athletic uniforms to the Athletic Office, is tomorrow.  Also any Band, Choir, or Orchestra uniforms should be turned into the directors tomorrow.  Anything not returned will be added to your fees, and we will not be accepting any items or payments at rehearsal.

    In order to graduate on stage, you must attend the Friday, May 31st MANDITORY, rehearsal.  Rehearsal begins at 8:30am in the Civic Auditorium.  Caps and Gowns are not required for rehearsal.
