    Summer is almost here and so is the hot weather! If you or your kids are looking for a way to cool off, Lakewood’s public pools are the way to go! They offer many great passes for children, students, adults, and seniors. Prices vary for all ages and if you are a resident or not. There is a kiddie area, a big pool with a slide and diving board at Madison pool and two pools at Foster pool at Lakewood Park.

    Individual Season Passes:
    -Student Pass (ages 7-17): $30 / resident; $60 / non-resident
    -Adult Pass (ages 18-59): $40 / resident; $80 / non-resident
    -Senior Pass (ages 60+): $5 / resident; $55 / non-resident

    Family Season Passes:
    -Two Adult Passes (ages 18-59): $70/resident; $140/non-resident
    -Three or more family members (living in the same household): $100/resident; $200/non-resident

    Municipal Pool Daily Admission Fees:
    -Children 6 and under are free with paid swimming adult
    -Student admission: $3.50 (resident)/ $4.50(non-resident)
    -Adult admission: $4.00 (resident)/$5.50 (non-resident)
    -Senior admission: $1.00 (resident)/$4.50 (non-resident)

    You can pay for the passes online or in person, Lakewood Recreation will accept payment in cash, check, and credit (Visa, Paypal, Mastercard, etc.)

    A Lakewood High School Student, sophomore Margaret McLaughlin, says “I am so excited for the pools to finally open! I love going to the pool, because it’s always refreshing!”
