Alex Ehase is a normal Lakewood High School freshmen. He is involved in orchestra and drama club. He aims to be very successful in school, and he is so far doing a good job at that.

Q: What do you want to do after high school?

A: “I plan on taking a year or so off of school to give my brain a break and do more of the    things I love, like traveling. I then plan on probably going to college, but I am not sure what I want to major in just yet.”

Q: What do you want to do after college if you go?

A: “At first I planned on going into cosmetology, but as I think about it I have decided I want to keep exploring to see what else catches my eye.”

Q: Are you in any extracurricular activities?

A: “Yes, well kind of. It is really only drama club, but just the stage crew things. I specifically will be working on hair and makeup.”

Q: How do you believe you are doing so far academically?

A: “I believe that I am doing good. In the beginning I did struggle a bit getting used to high school, but now I am doing good as I have learned ways to balance everything out”

Q: Overall, how do you feel about high school?

A: “I mean, I feel like me among probably many other students don’t really like school that much, there are other things I’d rather be doing. However, it isn’t the worst thing in the world, and it’s important so I would say it’s okay for me.”

Q: Do you have any advice for surviving as a freshman?

A: “Definitely do not stress too much about it, that is why I had trouble in the beginning. I learned how not to be so stressed and it worked. Also make sure you are there on time and do not miss too many days.”
