Nate Mims is a senior at Lakewood High School. He has been on varsity ever since he started playing in 10th grade. He is an incredible athlete with a mindset like no other, which comes to no surprise if you have ever seen him play. He still has a bit of the season left, and everyone here is interested to see what is in store for him. Here is his outlook based off a few questions he was asked…
What is your position on the court?
“I am a forward.”
What is your favorite part about the sport?
“My favorite part would have to be competing to win games with my team.”
What is your favorite basketball memory?
“My all time favorite basketball memory is my sophomore year after we beat North Ridgeville, and won to become conference champions.”
Do you have any future plans with the sport?
“I plan on playing in college, and then going as far as I can go with it.”
Is there anything about yourself you think would be different if it wasn’t for basketball?
“If I didn’t have basketball I think my mindset would be a little bit different. I push very hard in this sport. Everything else would be the same.”
