    Lakewood Seniors, Coach Chosen for Hockey All-Star Tournament

    Lakewood High School Hockey team has done really well this season! They finished the season with a record of 21-11! Everyone on the team did very well to be able to make it that far! Lakewood will have 2 players and 1 coach at the All-Star Tournament. Head coach Mark Ferfolia was picked to attend this tournament! Coach Ferfolia has coached both at Trinity High School and Chagrin Falls High School. He also coaches youth hockey at Gilmour. Mark Ferfolia has coached Lakewood Hockey for the past 5 years!

    Rob Holden is the senior goaltender for Lakewood. His brother Will Holden is a forward for Lakewood too. “Rob and Will Holden are some of the hardest working people I know. They are always looking for ways to improve their game and it’s very commendable,” said the Lakewood’s Hockey team statistician, Olivia Vuyancih.

    Lakewood High School seniors Will and Rob Holden, and head coach Mark Ferfolia were selected to participate in this year’s Greater Cleveland High School Senior All-Star Tournament. This tournament will be held at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Friday, March 6th, 2020.

    For this tournament, they will have players on four teams. There will be 4 teams each consisting of 4 players for this competition. The draft for the teams was held on Thursday March 5th at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Fairview Park. The draft was live streamed on Sports on Tap

    Ticket information for the games (which will include a monsters ticket for later that night) will be available later this week. Be sure to attend and cheer on the Holden brothers and Coach Ferfolia!
