A 26-year-old Chicago rapper was shot and killed in front of a hookah bar in ATL on the 6th of November.

King Von was one of the 2 people who was fatally shot on Friday morning. Authorities say 2 groups of men argued in the parking lot around 3:30 am and shots were fired.
22-year-old Timothy Leeks has been charged with the death of Dayvon Bennett also known as King Von. He is facing murder charges.

King Von charted twice on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums with “Grandson, Vol. 1”  and “Levon James.” Just last month, he released the album Welcome To O’Block.
He became popular when he released his song “Crazy Story.”After releasing “Crazy Story” he then went on and released ” Crazy Story 2.0″ as well as “Took her to the O.” These songs are all related. In the popular songs, he told a gang-related story.

At the end of the song “Crazy Story,” he says, “We from 65th we not from 63rd.”65th and 63rd are both streets in Chicago where rival gangs are located. King Von had the entire US yelling “We not from 63rd” even if they weren’t from Chicago.

King Von was signed to Lil Durk’s record label “Only the Family and Empire Distribution.”

He was loved and cared for by the U.S. Even Lebron James reached out and tweeted:
“Damn Rest Easy Von! Bronny, Bryce, and I rocked with his music and storytelling! The kid had a damn good future ahead of him. My prayers and blessings to his family. #LeVonJames #KingVon.”

    May he rest in heaven.
