Looking for a Club? Join Barnstormers

Daniel Keith

If you want to join a club to have fun after school and you like acting, then Barnstormers might be what you’re looking for. The Barnstormers Club is advised by Mr. Domenic Farinelli,  who also teaches drama class and  literature classes so he is certainly qualified.

The club meets once a month on Wednesday after school for about 30 minutes. They do three shows a year and this year in fall they are doing a full length play by Shakespeare called “Much Ado About Nothing.”

Farinelli has the students write their own plays and chooses 4 of the best ones and has the students act them out. Anybody is allowed, so if you were wondering if you needed to be experienced in acting or with anything that has to do with plays in general, then don’t worry because the club is there to learn and gain experience.

The club isn’t only about acting. You can learn how to help backstage and with props or with the costumes and makeup.

Also the club is a great way to meet new people and make new friends.

So if you have any other questions about Barnstormers you can talk to Mr. Farinelli in room M23 in the mods across the street from the main building.
