Attention Students: The Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Department Explorer Post 701 invites you to an Open House demonstration and Recruitment seminar this Thursday, October 6th, at 7pm in the Justice Center, 1215 West Third Street Cleveland, Blue Room (entrance from Lakeside Ave.). Explorer Post #701 is for young adults ages 14-21 interested in a hands-on approach to Law Enforcement. Some of the classes that are taught, are Handcuffing & Arrest Techniques, Ohio Laws of Search and Seizure, K9 & Swat Demonstrations, Range instruction, Radio Procedure, Warrant & Hazmat instruction, Jail & Coroners’ office tours. “Interact” the high school affiliate of Rotary International invites all interested students, and the exchange students, to our October Breakfast Club meeting which be held tomorrow at 7:30am, in the outdoor atrium. It will be a short meeting to share details for October service activity at the Beck Center and our Fall Fun/Halloween Party which includes all 10 of the Rotary exchange students in our district.
