This week’s person of the week is Courtney Ribar. Courtney is a junior here at Lakewood High School. Courtney is a very friendly and outgoing person. She is respectful, honest and caring. Courtney is a good person all around with a kind heart. I interviewed her to learn more about what she likes in and outside of school.

Q: What is your favorite part of junior year so far?

A: My favorite part is that I am finally an upperclassmen and not the youngest in school anymore.

Q: What is your favorite class here at Lakewood High and why?

A: Cinema is my favorite class because it is fun to make the yearbook and use creativity.

Q: Who is your favorite teacher at Lakewood High?

A: Mrs. Edah is my favorite teacher because she is very kind and a very good role model who always supports and helps her students.

Q: What’s your favorite sport you play and why?

A: Basketball is my favorite sport to play because the team is a lot of fun and I have been playing ever since I was a little kid.

A little more fun facts about Courtney She has three siblings, two sisters and a brother. She loves ice cream, hanging out with friends, and watching One Tree Hill on Netflix. If you see Courtney in the halls don’t be afraid to say hi!
