    The Barnstormers Student-Written, Student-Directed, Winter One Act Play Festival will be performed tonight thru Saturday night at 7:30, with an additional matinee performance on Friday, February 3rd at 4:00. Tickets can be purchased in the Book Room for $5.00.

    Spring is right around the corner and with spring comes Track!! Girls Track will have an informational meeting tomorrow, in Lecture Hall 1 after school. Swing by and get the necessary paper work. Official practice begins Mon., March 6th!
    All girls interested in playing fast pitch softball this season, there will be a short meeting on Monday, February 6th at 3:15 in Lecture Hall 2. The 2017 season, tryouts and our trip to Tennessee will be discussed.

    There will be a Boys Spring Track sign up meeting on Tuesday, February 7th at 3:15 in Lecture Hall 2. Please come and sign up for the upcoming season. Any questions see Coach Dow in the lunchroom 6th period.
    Attention sophomores! Interested in a lifelong rewarding career? Consider the West Shore Automotive Technology Class. This is a trade that is enjoyable, pays well, and you can go anywhere in the world and gain employment. Stop in the Career Tech office to sign up for next year’s class or even an opportunity to shadow the class this year.

    Today in LEC 2, the Social Studies Department is having their electives presentation. If you are in World History or US History, during your World or US History period, you are to report to Lecture Hall 2 to see the incredible electives we have to offer!

    Today marks the 1st day of Black History Month. Black History Month is an extension of Negro History Week, established by Carter Woodson, whose intention was to change the conversation of African American history from one simply of suffering and victimization to one of heroism and achievement. Join us throughout February in celebrating Black History Month. Our first event is a viewing of the film “The Great Debaters” today after school in C309. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served. Look for announcements highlighting events here at the High School and come join in the ongoing conversation about the legacy of some of America’s greatest heroes.

    The Winter Dance will be held on February 25th, so mark your calendars. Tickets go on sale beginning February 9th.
    Project Smile will meet tomorrow in A107 from 3-4 pm.
