Modern day Beauty and the Beast just came to theaters this past Friday. It was a big hit in the box office making 174.8 million dollars. The movie was seen to be a blast from the past bringing the mix of the older generation with the newer generation.

When I went to see the movie this past weekend I was so happy to see the children dressed as the characters and/or stringing along the character’s dolls. I felt like I was a kid again. Right when the movie started I couldn’t stop smiling the entire time. Some parts were cry worthy but I only teared up.

Overall the movie was so great and I will be buying it when it comes out on DVD. My only concern going into the movie was the length. The movie is two hours and ten minutes but it flowed so well that the time wasn’t an issue. The soundtrack was also a magical part in making this movie. they had such big stars like Céline Dion, John Legend, and Ariana Grande.

On the day the movie came out the soundtrack was trending on iTunes. I liked that the songs really didn’t change from the original they were modernized a little but that’s what’s expected.

In conclusion the movie was as magical and enchanting as ever. I recommend anyone and everyone to go see it. This movie is the perfect movie to come together with your family and friends. Make sure you take time out of your busy schedules to see this movie before you miss it!!!
