    Voodoo Tuna

    Voodoo Tuna

If you’re ever looking for a great sushi place to go to, Voodoo Tuna is your way to go. This place is amazing for date night or a night out with some friends. They have an outstanding menu selection and just about all of their food options are appetizing.

The two Chefs Andrew Jackson and Joe Koskovics have created a fun yet uncommon variation of sushi. The owners claim they have chosen Lakewood because of “its reputation for fine dining and it is a very trendy place”, except that they have noticed there are very few options for sushi in Lakewood. The decor inside is Asian inspired, it is outstandingly beautiful. The lights fit the tone of the restaurant along with the mural painted along one of the walls by a local artist, Adam Jorgensen.

Their hours are Monday through Friday 4pm to 7pm, Saturday 4pm to 11pm, and closed on Sundays. If you go during Happy Hour, Monday through Saturday from 4 to 7pm, if you sit at the either of the bars, you get half off Uramaki rolls, half off appetizers, $4 Drafts, $5 Glass House Wine, and $1 off cocktails.

The service is great, the staff is very welcoming and you never have to wait too long for your food. Overall, it is a great place to sit down and talk while you enjoy some delicious food in a relaxing environment.
