“Summer” by Yanhao Lin

Yinhao Lin

The summer was hot,

We were thirst for some juicy blood.

The smell of ripe mangos passed through our nostril.

It was time to feed our thirty stomach.

The garden was greenful, with golden fruits.

We climbed over the wall.

We were hungry for some juicy blood.

The strong smell made our mouth watery.

It was time to steal some golden mangos.

We used a long bamboo,

poking on the golden babies

and hoping it to drop from the tree.

One, two, and three.

Mangos were falling one by one

on the thirty ground.

We wiped golden fruits with our cloths.

One, two and three.

Stucked them into our small pockets.
